Read over the materials outlining the mission of Literacy Education Assistance Pups to see if we are a match with you and your dog.
Your dog must be at least one year old.
Bring a copy of current vet records with you on the first meeting. Dogs must be current on all of their vaccinations required by law and have a current veterinarian report.
Your dog must pass a temperament test before entering the program.
You must attend four training sessions to become L.E.A.P. certified.
You must agree to tutor a minimum of six times per academic year.
Submit a copy of a background check or complete the paperwork with L.E.A.P. to have a background check done.
Complete the registration form and vet report; bring them to the first training meeting.
